This is to inform all applicants who participated in the 2020/2021 academic session of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) after the UTME selection exercise that the management of the institution has published the names of the candidates offered for provisional admission in its various undergraduate programs.

Applicants successfully admitted to the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) first degree programs are encouraged to:

INSTRUCTIONS TO CANDIDATES OFFERED PROVISIONAL ADMISSION FOR THE ACADEMIC SESSION 20202021

Applicants proposed for provisional admission are required to adopt the following guidelines to regularize their acceptance of the offer:

  1. All applicants marked with an asterisk in the above list are advised to URGENTLY upload their Level O results to the JAMB portal within one week using a JAMB approved CBT center and Submit proof of download and admission status in JAMB CAPS to the admissions office. Note that the admission of candidates marked with an asterisk cannot be processed until the upload of the Y / N level results is completed correctly.
  2. Visit the JAMB portal and accept your admission to CAPS by clicking on “Accept admission”. Applicants who do not accept admission to JAMB CAPS will not receive a JAMB admission letter and will be considered not admitted.
  3. Visit the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or portal (unnportal.unn.edu.ng), connect to your JAMB registration number to generate and download a payment invoice which contains a Remitta number, the invoice will allow you to make payment to UNN Microfinance Bank or any commercial bank.
  4. With the payment invoice, the candidates invited to pay Acceptance fee of only thirty thousand naira (N30,000.00). Make sure the invoice number is entered correctly at the bank and get a confirmation slip containing your confirmation number and your invoice number.
  5. Visit the University of Nigeria website (www.unn.edu.ng) or the portal (unnportal.unn.edu.ng) again and log in to your JAMB registration number, confirmation number and invoice number, then print the admission slip and complete the online acceptance form.
  6. Proceed with other fee payments and registration as instructed on the University of Nigeria website.
  7. Applicants should note that this admission is provisional.
  8. If at any time in the future, including the final year, it is discovered that a candidate does not meet the minimum university and faculty / department entry requirements for the course as prescribed by the Senate of the University, and published in the JAMB brochure, admission will be withdrawn.

ALTERNATELY, prospective UNN students can also access their admission status on the JAMB admission status verification portal by following the procedure described below:

  1. Access the JAMB admission portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/efacility_/.
  2. Log in to your Jamb profile with your username and password.
  3. Scroll down then locate and click on the ‘Check admission status‘ tab.
  4. To select your exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.
  5. Finally, click on ‘Check admission status‘to access your UNN admission status.

The management of Zamfara State University, Talata-Mafara (ZAMSUT) has published the registration procedure for students admitted during the 2020/2021 academic session.

  1. Candidates admitted to Zamfara State University, Talata Mafara are: first and foremost. required to connect to http://www.sis.zamsut.edu.ng/ using their Jamb registration number as “username” and “password
