Application Deadline for Nigerian Army Biu University (NAUB) for fresh and stale undergraduates for the 2021/2022 academic session.

The management of the Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) has announced the registration deadline for the 2021/2022 academic session.

NAUB registration deadline

The management of the University observed that there are many students who are not yet registered for the academic session 2021/2022 who attend conferences / other academic activities within the University.

The Directorate had set the deadline for student enrollment as follows:

  • Returning Students – August 10, 2021, after which any returning student who did not register for the session by the deadline would be expelled from the University.
  • Fresh student – August 5, 2021, after which any new student who has not registered by the deadline will forfeit their admission to the University.

Any returning / fee student who has not registered for the session must pay a late registration fee of 5,000.00 from Wednesday July 28, 2021.

Federal Poly Bida  Matriculates New Students

Federal Polytechnic Bida (BIDAPOLY) enrolled 3,500 newly admitted ND and HND students during the 2020/2021 academic session.

Federal Poly Bida registers new students

The Federal Polytechnic Bida has enrolled 3,500 new students for the 2020/2021 academic session, as the Rector, Abubakar Abdul-Dzukogi, entrusted the new students with academic excellence.

The students enrolled were respectively made up of 2,400 and 1,100 students of the national diploma and the higher national diploma.

The rector said that the school leadership is doing everything possible to make the learning and teaching environment conducive to both students and staff, adding that good academic performance is a combined contribution of diligent students and a conducive learning atmosphere.

Dzukogi reiterated the institution’s zero tolerance for indecent dress, exam malpractice and other social vices, and therefore warned students against actions detrimental to the institution’s overall development.

Buhari Pledges To Increase Education Budget

President Muhammadu Buhari has pledged to increase the education sector budget by up to 50% over the next two years.

Buhari commits to increasing the education budget

Buhari and other leaders signed a form of pledge at the meeting in London, UK on Wednesday.

The document was titled “Heads of State Call to Action on Education Financing ahead of the World Education Summit”.

He said: “We commit to gradually increasing our annual national education spending by 50% over the next two years and up to 100% by 2025 beyond the global benchmark of 20%.

The summit, co-hosted by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson and President of Kenya Uhuru Kenyatta, aims to give leaders the opportunity to make a five-year commitment to support GPE’s work to help transform education systems in up to 90 countries and territories.
