This is to inform all students of the University of Agriculture Michael Okpara, Umudike (MOUAU) that the management of the institution has published the revised academic calendar for the academic session 2020/2021.

Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Procedures for paying UMYU acceptance fees and printing admission letters for the 2021/2022 academic session, newly admitted candidates.

UMYU acceptance fee, admission letter

This is to inform all applicants newly admitted to UTME and direct entry to Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Kastina, that they can now print their admission letters and proceed payment of their admission fees online.

UMYU acceptance fee, admission letter

  • Access the UMYU admission portal at https://collegeportal.umyu.edu.ng/ug/applicant/index/
  • Log in using your JAMB number and the password used for the Post UTME connection
  • To make payment for the acceptance fee, please click here
  • Make payment of the acceptance fee which is N5,000 for natives and N10,000 for non-natives. Note that there is an N300 processing fee, bank fee, and an N50 stamp duty
  • Payment can be made either by: –
    • Bank branch (for this option, print the transaction ID and bring it to a bank branch to pay) or
    • Pay now (for this option use your ATM card to pay online).
  • Make sure to print your receipt after paying the acceptance fee
  • After successful payment, you will be redirected to a link to print your admission letter

The management of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University (UMYU), Kastina, has released the enrollment guidelines for all students admitted during the 2021/2022 academic session.

UMYU Fee Student Enrollment Guidelines

Read the registration steps carefully before starting your online registration.

STEP 1: PROCEDURE FOR PRINTING THE LETTER OF ADMISSION

  • Visit https://umyu.edu.ng/ click on Payment of admission fees and printing of admission letter in the left navigation menu of the University home page.
  • The link will redirect you to the following URL https://collegeportal.umyu.edu.ng/ug/applicant/index/
  • Log in using your JAMB number and the password used for the Post UTME login.
  • To make payment for the acceptance fee, please click here
  • Make the payment of the acceptance fee which is 5,000 N for natives and 10,000 N for non-natives. Note that there is an N300 processing fee, bank fee, and an N50 stamp duty.
  • Payment can be made either by: –
    • Bank branch (for this option, print the transaction ID and bring it to a bank branch to pay) or
    • Pay now (for this option use your ATM card to pay online).
  • Be sure to print your receipt after paying the acceptance fee.
  • Once payment is complete, you will be redirected to a link to print your admission letter.
  • In the left menu, click the Print other forms links to print the associated documents for the record.
  • After printing the admission letter and other forms, click on “Connect to portal” to be redirected to the student portal for registration.

STEP 2: REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT PROCEDURE

  • Once redirected to the student portal, please confirm your level and update your personal profile by completing all required fields.
  • Make sure you upload your passport photo and signature in JPEG format (each no larger than 100KB). Make sure you provide your correct email address, home address, and phone number.
  • At this point, a student proceeds to payment using the Paydirect platform provided by clicking on one of the following payment options:
  • Bank branch (for this option, print the transaction ID and bring it to a bank branch to pay) or
  • Pay now (for this option use your ATM card to pay online).
  • For Payment Medium: Select the Payment Medium link from the “Payment Manager” menu on your portal, then click “Request” next to the transaction ID you paid for. You can also print your payment receipt by selecting the Payment Medium link from the “Payment Manager” menu on your portal, then click “Print Receipt” next to the transaction ID you paid for.

* IMPORTANT NOTES

  • All students must upload their scanned passport photo (JPEG format no more than 100KB) and signature (JPEG format no more than 100KB), as a requirement for online registration.
  • Once you have completed updating the profile as required, click on the “Save Profile” button at the bottom of the page. You will be automatically redirected to the payment page.

STEP 3: ACCESS TO THE STUDENT PORTAL

  • Once the payment is successful, the candidate must again click on Connect to portal (https://collegeportal.umyu.edu.ng) to get the matrix number.
  • Bring the registration number and proof of payment to the ICT Directorate to retrieve your official University email address (without this email you cannot access the portal again). Note that you must use your official email address each time you want to log into the portal to complete your registration.

STEP 4: GENERATION OF THE STUDENT IDENTITY CARD

  • Note that you must have uploaded your passport and signature as required in step 2.
  • Collection of identity cards, a date will be announced to the Security Unit
