KASU registration procedure for the 2020/2021 session

Kaduna State University, KASU registration procedure for the 2020/2021 academic session the newly admitted and returning undergraduates have been released.

KASU registration procedure

This is to inform all fresh and expired undergraduate students of Kaduna State University (KASU) that the leadership of the institution has published the registration procedure for the 2020/2021 academic session. Registration will close on July 16, 2021.

KASU registration procedure

Fresh students:

  1. New students must come to their respective registration centers for their exam with all relevant documents (originals and photocopies)
  2. Each student must come with the WAEC, NECO, NABTEB and any other relevant examination body scratch card for verification of O’Level results by the academic planners of the faculty.
  3. The student with deficiencies, inconsistency of names and other related cases will be referred to the Directorate’s Audit Committee.
  4. At the end of the screening, if authorized. The student will receive an authorization slip from the faculty’s office agents.
  5. The authorized student will then go to their department / faculty for a second selection and continue their registration where the department level coordinator will sign and stamp the authorization slip issued by the head of the academic planning office.
  6. The student must consult the unit for the payment of the GST.
  7. The department level coordinator activates the new student’s JAMB number to allow them to connect to the registration portal.
  8. New students must log in to the student portal (student.kasu.edu.ng) with its JAMB number as the username and its original state as the password. It will then print the price list with an automatically generated payment reference number.
  9. The new student makes payments through the following options;
    • By cash deposit at any commercial bank on the Kaduna State Government’s direct payment platform.
    • By online banking payment.
  10. The student must go to the scholarship unit with other receipts / payment slips for authentication.
  11. The student will then connect student.kasu.edu.ng continue the online registration by updating their bin-data profile and printing the following documents; Course registration form, student information form, medical form and admission letter. Note that the student’s registration number will be generated automatically.
  12. The student must then go to the selection points of the Faculty to register for the entry of biometric data.
  13. The student will then retrieve three (3) copies of the file from the Academic Affairs Unit. These files must be completed and all the necessary documents inserted in each one according to the order of classification which will be communicated to you by the Academic Secretariat.
  14. Finally, the student must then submit the completed files to the Academic Affairs Unit for confirmation, a file must be submitted to the Department and to the Faculty respectively.

Returning students:

  1. Returning students must visit their respective department to obtain authorization from their level coordinators and receive an authorization slip.
  2. If allowed, students should contact the head of the faculty office of their respective faculty for activation.
  3. Students at the 200 level should consult the unit for GST payment.
  4. The student must connect to the KASU portal, (student.kasu.edu.ng) with its registration number as user name – and password to generate the price list.
  5. The student makes payments through the following options;
    • By cash deposit at any commercial bank on the Kaduna State Government’s direct payment platform.
    • By online banking payment.
  6. The student must go to the scholarship unit with the receipt / payment slip of other fees for authentication.
  7. Students must go online to register for their courses and print their course registration form.
  8. Finally, the student must then submit their signed course registration form to their department, faculty and academic affairs unit.

Baze Abuja University Tuition Fee Schedule for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students for the 2021/2022 Academic Session has been released.

University of Baze tuition fees

The management of Baze University Abuja has released the amounts payable for tuition fees by the institution’s undergraduate and postgraduate students for the 2021/2022 academic session.

Baze University Tuition Fee Schedule

Depending on the student’s payment preference, tuition can be paid per semester or per academic year. If the student chooses the semester payment method but is unable to provide all the required funds, they can pay in installments. However, full payment of tuition fees is required prior to the start of the exam period.

Currently, there is no distinction between tuition fees for domestic students (Nigerian nationality students) and international students.

Revision of tuition fees

Tuition fees are subject to review by the University Senate. This change in tuition fees may be the result of the country’s economic situation or the introduction of new systems that will lead to a more effective learning environment. All students and parents / guardians will be informed of any new development regarding tuition fees.

Tuition and admission fees

University admission does not guarantee a place unless tuition fees are paid. Thus, for incoming or transfer students, payment of tuition fees is part of the university admission process. The tuition fee only covers the cost of the courses taken for the semester.

  • National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Certificate of Release or Letter of Exemption
  • Minimum of 5 O-level credits, including English language and mathematics in no more than 2 sessions.

  2. Register for a new user and login if you have already created your profile
  3. After creating your profile; log into your account on the portal
  4. Click on “Apply” at the top right
  5. Use the drop-down arrow to choose Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi (PGD) open to choose your preferred course.
  6. Click “apply” on the right side to make a payment of 20,000.00 N for form.
  7. Click “Pay Now” to make the payment, then fill in your biological data, contact details, update O levels and upload documents.
  8. Print the payment receipt and submit it online.
  9. Bring the printed receipt for confirmation of payment to the office of the Director Plapoly Consult Jos Campus.

  • Five O’Level credits (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, and IGCSE) in a single sitting to include English language, math, chemistry, physics, and biology are required for admission to the MBBS and Nursing programs.
  • Other Programs: Five O’Levels (WAEC, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and IGCSE) Credit passes to no more than two sessions to include English Language, Math and three (3) other subjects relevant to the curriculum.
  • The results of the unified tertiary enrollment exams PAST (UTME) are not allowed.

How to Apply for ABUAD Post UTME / Undergraduate Admission Screening

ONLINE APPLICATION FOR THE FIRST CYCLE

  1. Click on http://admission.abuad.edu.ng/fill out the online form and make an online payment.
  2. If the request is made online, then you have the option of writing your POST UTME TEST ONLINE.
    • Download the online application form from the university website: abuad.edu.ng
  3. You can also purchase forms at the designated centers listed below.
    • If the request is made via options (2) and (3), then you will not be able to do your POST UTME TEST ONLINE BUT AT A DESIGNATED CENTER AND DATE.

PURCHASE OF THE ADMISSION APPLICATION FORM

  • The candidate who has chosen ABUAD in the Unified Tertiary Registration Examination (UTME) must pay the sum of N2,000 for the admission application form and N5,000 as a selection fee in one of the banks under-listed with the undergraduate account number ABUAD while the direct entry and inter-university transfer request forms are 10,500 N each to be paid to the same underlisted banks.

CHANGE OF INSTITUTION

  • Applicants who have not chosen Afe Babalola University (ABUAD) in the Unified Tertiary Enrollment Examination (UTME) are also qualified to participate in the post UTME selection by the purchase of a change of establishment form from the university at a price of N 3,500, which is added to the admission application form of N 2,000 and the selection fee of N 5,000 from one of the underlisted banks. Please note that a The JAMB Institution Change Form is also a requirement.
  • Applicants awaiting results from the SSCE or its equivalent may also apply for admission provided they qualify when the results are available.
