Afe Babalola International Studies Center Programs

1. Pre-diploma programs:

The pre-diploma program provides a unique opportunity for students who intend to continue their studies at Afe Babalola Ado Ekiti University (ABUAD). Through the program, they are intensively prepared for the Unified Tertiary Registration Examination (UTME). The pre-diploma program exempts our students from the POST-UTME of Afe Babalola University. It served as a gateway for students who had long awaited admission to college. The transition rate to university has been between 95% and 98% since inception. Applicants who have written ABUAD post-utme and who have not been admitted are granted AUTOMATIC ADMISSION directly from the University. The duration is 9 months.

2. Basic degree program:

The Foundation Degree program is primarily designed for applicants who have met the minimum university admission requirements i.e. five O’Level credits in one session or six O’Level credits in two sessions, including including English, math and other relevant subjects.

This program through the Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board (JUPEB) or Cambridge Advanced Level admits directly at the 200 level, except for law from Afe Babalola Ado Ekiti University (ABUAD) and other universities from Nigeria. The Cambridge Advanced Level program offers an increased opportunity for admission abroad also at the 200 level. Each year, with a success rate of over 95%, this program opens the door to Afe Babalola Ado Ekiti University (ABUAD ) and other universities in Nigeria. The duration is 12 months.
