The Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa HND Part-time, Pre-HND and ND II Admissions for 2021/2022 have been announced. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into part-time programmes run by the Polytechnic in the 2021/2022 session.

Entry Requirements
Polytechnic Diploma
At least four (4) passes including Mathematics, English Language and other relevant subjects (at the GCE O’ Level, SSCE or its equivalent)

Pre-HND
Ordinary Diploma or its equivalent in the relevant discipline and five (5) Credits at not more than two sittings at the GCE O’Level, SSCE, or its equivalent in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language and any three relevant subjects.

HND Part-time
National Diploma (ND) in the relevant field from recognized Polytechnics with at least Lower Credit plus at least five (5) Credits in GCE O’Level, SSCE, or its equivalent in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language. The post ND working experiences are not required for admission in this respect.

Method of Application
Interested candidates can obtain Application forms at a non-refundable fee of 6,000 naira only, upon successful payments on the Remita platform. Applicants may use their debit cards (Interswitch, Verve, Mastercard etc) or make cash payments at the bank to get an RRR-code to be used on the platform.

Candidates are to then to proceed to https://fedpolynas.edu.ng/  begin their application.

Application Deadline
The deadline for submission of applications is 6 weeks from the date of this publication.

Entry Requirements

HND: National Diploma (ND) in the relevant fields from recognized Polytechnics with at least Lower Credit plus at least five (5) credits in GCE O’Level, SSCE or its equivalent in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language, and minimum of one year post qualification industrial attachment.

Pre-ND: At least five (5) credits in the GCE O’Level, SSCE, NECO, or its equivalent in the relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language. Candidates will be required to sit and pass the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). The programme is strictly for applicants from educationally less developed States i.e. Adamawa, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross River, Ebonyi, Gombe, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara States

IJMB: Five (5) CREDITS at not more than TWO SITTINGS in relevant subjects to include
both English and Mathematics.

(IJMB) Interim Joint Matriculation Board programme is a One-year Advanced Level programme in the Arts, Social Sciences and Science, which leads successful candidates to secure admission at the 200 level in a University through JAMB Direct Entry procedure. The available subject combinations are:

Federal Poly Nasarawa Post-UTME Form For 2021/2022 Is Out

Federal Polytechnic Nasarawa Post-UTME eligibility, cut-off mark, and registration details for the 2021/2022 academic session have been announced. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into ND full-time programmes run by the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa (FEDPONAS) in the 2021/2022 Academic Session.

Eligibility

Candidates that have chosen the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa in the 2021 UTME and scored the approved minimum cut-off points in the appropriate subjects’ combination are eligible for post-UTME Screening.

Entry Requirements:

Applicants with one of the following qualifications may be considered for admission into the National Diploma programme by direct entry.

i. Senior Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent (GCEO”Level, Teachers’ Grade II, WASC, NECO, NTC and NBC) with credit passes in five subjects including Mathematics, English and three other relevant subjects to the programme at not more than two sittings.

Candidates must, in addition, obtain prescribed minimum score in the compulsory Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) of Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB)

ii. Five credit passes ( according to NBTE Directory of Accreditation Programmes) in relevant subjects obtained at the final examination of National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) recognized preliminary programme offered in the Polytechnic or similar Post Secondary Technical Institutions.

Method of Application

The application fee is Two Thousand Naira (N2, 000.00) only (excluding bank charges) for Post-UTME Screening in respect of ND programmes. Visit the Polytechnic website (www.fedpolynas.edu.ng) for the detailed procedure.
