The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) is now accepting applications from small business owners for its 2021 Entrepreneurship Training Program. The deadline for submitting applications for the Development Bank of Nigeria Entrepreneurship Training Program is August 1, 2021.

The Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) Entrepreneurship Training Program 2021 is calling for applications – Are you a business owner, hoping to equip yourself with the skills and competencies to run a business? successful business in Nigeria? Apply for the 2021 Development Bank of Nigeria Entrepreneurship Program.

The program will aim to equip Nigerian entrepreneurs with the requisite business knowledge and skills that will help their businesses thrive into the new normal, while also helping them maintain a competitive advantage within their respective industries.

The program will consist of 2 stages and will be implemented over a period of 3 months in collaboration with Google Nigeria, Enterprise Development Center (EDC) and Wider Perspective Limited (WPL). In addition to providing financing and risk-sharing facilities to MSMEs and small businesses through participating financial institutions, the Development Bank of Nigeria should build the capacity of Nigerian MSMEs to enable them to access credit.

This proposed strategy is to ensure that DBN builds a quality and sustainable capacity building program that meets the objectives below:

  • Ensure MSMEs are well equipped with the skills and competencies to advocate for strong and viable business proposals
  • Improve the capacity of MSMEs to access available credit
  • Improve MSME capacity for efficient use of funds, trade, investment and market access
  • Acknowledgment of receipt and opening and closing.

Eligibility for the Entrepreneurship Training Program of the Development Bank of Nigeria

  • The business owner must be 18 years of age and over.
  • The entrepreneur must be a citizen or legal resident of Nigeria.
  • The company must be based and registered with CAC in Nigeria.
  • The business must be for profit from any industry.
  • Applicants must be available to engage in the training program once accepted.

Development Bank of Nigeria Entrepreneurship Training Program Process Flow

  • A self-paced, fundamental digital marketing course for 1,000 shortlisted entrepreneurs, available for a period of one month (August 16 – September 10)
  • The first 250 MSMEs who complete the foundational course at your own pace will be invited to participate in the instructor-led live webinar sessions with Google Nigeria, after which the top 200 MSMEs who attend the live webinar session will be invited to the session. face to face. training in Lagos and Abuja.
  • The program will be tailored to the needs of the 200 selected MSMEs after completion of a needs-based analysis.
  • Pre-selected MSMEs will all be eligible to attend the pitch session of this training to access certain available funding.
  • All successful MSMEs who attend the face-to-face training will receive a certificate of completion.

  • Bankability – Level of readiness to access credit.
  • Feasibility and sustainability of the economic model.
  • Scalability – Demonstrates the growth potential of the business to create jobs.

  • Applicants with a National Diploma (ND) (LOWER CREDIT) in Polymer and Textile Technology are eligible for admission to HND (chemistry option).
  • At least one year of industrial experience relevant to the post-national diploma.

  • Access the Gateway poly admission processing portal at http://onlineappsaapade.gaposa.edu.ng/OnlineApp/.
  • Click on Cool application
  • Complete the Basic Details Form (BDF)
  • Click on “CONTINUE”
  • If you are ready to pay, click on “PAY NOW” otherwise click on “SAVE AND EXIT”
  • Complete your payment process
  • Return to the site (Online application portal), log in and complete Detailed application form (DAF)
  • Provide your application number as the username and your last name as the password
  • Provide all the required information
  • Enter your O’level result (s)
  • Click on “SEND” to register your completed information online
  • Download the passport (configuration: JPG, 120 * 120px and 20kb)
  • Click on “Submit” to complete the application process
  • Print the detailed application form (DAF).
