The management of Bayero University, Kano (BUK) has announced the selection exercise procedure for the 2020/2021 academic session of newly admitted students.

BUK first year student selection procedure

The University will not be performing physical screening exercise for newly admitted students this year, but will instead conduct an exam Online screening exercise from July 7, 2021. Applicants can shortlist from their respective home states. No need to come to BUK.

Potential applicants are required to adhere to the following instructions and to visit here for the 2020/2021 selection exercise.

Applicants are expected to:

Step 1: Clear with Jamb by accepting and printing the Jamb admission letter.

2nd step: Log on to the address above with their jamb number, home state and gender to check admission status.

Step 3: Download the BUK Admission Letter, Undertaking and University Health Services Registration Form using the link provided. (https://mybuk.buk.edu.ng/myScreening/)

Step 4: Generate, download and print a custom BUK payment form (BUKPPF). Ten thousand naira acceptance fee (10,000.00 N) is reflected on the student’s BUKPPF, to be paid using the electronic payment and electronic collection platforms Remita. Make sure you read, understand and follow the payment process carefully, as BUK will not be responsible for any loss of funds resulting from incorrect data entry., which can cause unnecessary delays in the validation and processing of payment. The payment can be validated by the Candidates by clicking on check payment status to the payment page.

Note: All charges are non-refundable after payment has been made.

Step 5: Download the following documents in jpg format (Size must be less than 1MB):

  • Jamb slide
  • Jamb Admission Letter
  • Level O result
  • A level result (DE candidates only)
  • Any other relevant document.

To note:

  • The above document (s) may be rejected for poor quality or otherwise. However, applicants are required to re-upload a clearer copy if any of the documents are rejected.
  • For inquiries / complaints applicants should use the message box icon on the right side of the site.
  • After this step, Candidates may experience a delay of 12 to 24 hours while waiting for the approval of the documents.

Step 6: Print the receipt, which contains the registration number and other instructions for registration and documentation.

Step 7: Upon successful completion of the above steps, applicants should proceed to enrollment at https://mybuk.buk.edu.ng/ug/ for an online registration exercise.

  3. Click on the “Candidate” tab, then on “Proof of Admission” to access your ZAMSUT admission status.

  4. To select your exam year and enter your registration number in the required column.
  5. Finally, click on ‘Check admission status‘to access your ZAMSUT admission status.

ZAMSUT registration procedure for newly admitted students 2020/2021

  1. Candidates admitted to Zamfara State University, Talata Mafara are: first and foremost. required to connect to http://www.sis.zamsut.edu.ng/ using their Jamb registration number as “username” and “password
