ABOUT NUC

The National Universities Commission (NUC) of Nigeria is a government commission promoting quality higher education in Nigeria. It is in the capital city of Abuja.

The commission was established in 1962 as an advisory agency in the Cabinet Office.

In 1974, it became a statutory body and its first Executive Secretary was Professor Jibril Aminu.

It is currently part of the Federal Ministry of Education and is a parastatal (government-owned corporation).

The commission has a Governing Council, currently headed by Professor Shehu Galadanchi and its Executive Secretary is Prof. Abubakar Rasheed, who assumed office on 3 August 2016.

Since its establishment, the commission has transformed from a small office in the Cabinet Office to an important arm of government in the area of development and management of university education in Nigeria.

MATHEMATICS Two A ‘level passes in Mathematics and Physics and/or Chemistry.NCE with credit passes in Mathematics and Physics plus 5 credits at SSCE (or equivalent)  Five (5) credit passes in SSCE (or its equivalent) including English Language, Physics and Mathematics and any other two subjects from Further Mathematics, Physics Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural ScienceFor a degree in statistics, any science subject is acceptable in place of Physics  English Language, Mathematics and Physics, and one of Chemistry, Biology, Geography and Economics in the order of preference. 2. BIOLOGY At least 2 A’ level passes in Biology, Botany, Zoology and Chemistry or Physics.Credit passes in NCE and OND in addition to 5 credits at SSCE (or its equivalent). Five credit passes in SSCE (or its equivalent) in English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.  English Language, Biology, Chemistry and any other Science Subject. 3. Augustine University, Ilara (AUI), Epe, is now selling applications forms for admission into its Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2021/2022 academic session. See the requirements and how to obtain for Augustine University JUPEB form below.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for Admission into the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) Programme for the 2021/2022 academic session.

The programme leads to the award of JUPEB certificate that enables candidates to gain Direct Entry Admissions into their respective second year degree programmes in Augustine University, Ilara-Epe or other JUPEB affiliated Universities in Nigeria and abroad.

Augustine University JUPEB Admission Eligibility & Duration

ELIGIBILITY: Eligible candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) Ordinary Level Credits passes in SSCE/GCE or NECO (inclusive of English Language) in subjects relevant to the candidates’ course of study in the University at not more than two sittings.

DURATION: The duration of the programme is one academic session of two semesters starting from September 2020.

The management of the Eko University of Medical and Health Sciences (EkoUNIMED), Ijanikin, Lagos State, has published the amounts to be paid as school fees by the newly admitted and returning students of the institution for the 2021/2022 academic session.


EkoUNIMED School Fees Schedule

All admitted students are to pay a sum of #100,000 (One Hundred Thousand Naira).

The School Fee is divided into two parts (Tuition Fee and Other Fees i.e Accommodation, Laboratory, Registration, Excursion etc.), for Newly Admitted Students and Returning Students.

NEWLY ADMITED STUDENTS

  • Tuition Fee – #1,500,000, Other Fees – #475,500 (UTME)
  • Tuition Fee – #2,000,000, Other Fees – #475,500 (D.E)

RETURNING STUDENTS
